Hi there,

I'm just in the planning stages of my honeymoon in late September/early October. We're staying at Disney but planning 3 days at Universal/IOA. I'm just having trouble deciding which days to do which parks, and wondered if anyone could provide some opinions, as we've never been before.

We want to do:
One full day at each park, and a third day to do one park in the morning, then walk over to the other in the afternoon. We also want to eat at Mythos, and Three Broomsticks if possible.

The days we have available are Wednesday 29th September, Tuesday 5th October, and Saturday 9th October. We're not going to be doing Halloween Horror Nights.

Which order would you do things in etc, and do you think we should buy Express passes for any of the days?

Many thanks :)

I don't have much advice about which days to do each park, except maybe wait until HHN days/hours are released. This could be a deciding factor for you. I would expect larger crowds on Saturday, expecially because of HHN. Express Passes, I'd say definitely on Saturday. I would come prepared to purchase the passes on Tues. & Wed., and hope it won't be necessary. If necessary, buy early in the day. There isn't an endless supply.

Happy wedding & honeymoon!:lovestruc

Historically those days have not been busy so Express Plus passes are not normally needed. The only day that would normally busier would be Saturday since many locals come out on the weekends and the HHN crowd will start to arrive in the afternoon...but mainly at the Studios. If you get there and see the lines are too long for your tastes, you can purchase the EP at any number of places in both parks but don't sweat it ahead of time.

Of course all of this could change with the Harry Potter crowds so we will have to wait and see.
