just looking for some advice.
Basically we were originally booked in a 2bed standard view villa at AKL for 10 nights from 12-22 nov.
Some of our party have had to drop out so we now no longer need such a large accomodation.
Disney allowed us to drop down form a 2 bed to just the studio for our original 10 nights BUT
We were originally going to universal studios for 4 nights before this but as it is now just me, hubby, my mum and our 3 month old, it doesn't seem worth the cost of the passes etc so we are trying to stay just in disney for the full 14 nights! We also have 52 points that we have to use by febuary or we will lose them so makes sense from every perspective.
So far we have phoned up every day and managed to get the 8th nov in a studio at SSR for the 1 night, and today managed to get a savannah view studio for 1 night on the 9th.
We still don't have ANY accomodation booked for the 10th or 11th and really don't want to have to move hotels every day with a baby especially.
SO...... my question is where is our best chance?
I have tried to research it and so far am under the impression that old key west, saratoga springs and savannah view at AKL are the best chances for a waitlist coming through?
Are there any others that we would have a "better" chance of?
Also.....
We are currently waitlisted for 9-12th at saratoga and 8-12th at AKL. Would we be better changing thest to 10-12th and then if/when we get accomodation for the nights we DESPERATELY need trying to get the "odd" night then? Would the chances of the 2 nights coming up be much better than the 3 or 4 or is this not really going to make a difference?
is a studio at Beach club or comtemporary very unlikely? I am assuming this is a silly question, its just we normally go with a big group (2bed) and in the summer holidays so we would NEVER have the points to stay at one of these resorts.
any advice would be much appreciated, I tried to ask for advice from cast members I have spoken to but they don't seem very forthcoming with the info I need!! I suppose thats their job though.
Thanks in advance.
