I need advice!! We are doing the day at AK. Since the ts at AK doesn't appeal to my kids 13 and 9, we are park hopping to another park for dinner. I thought of going to the Beach Club and walking over to Epcot. What restaurant would you recommend I booked Tutto Italia, but I keep reading mixed reviews I'm also trying to get the most out of the DP.
TIA

My kids are roughly that age and we all love Chefs de France and La Hacienda de San Angel in Epcot, as well as Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club, which is a 5 minute walk from the International Gateway entrance to Epcot. These are all 1 credit places on the dining plan. My husband and one kid love Biergarten as well - it's heavy on meat and potatoes and has a fun band that plays every half hour or so. It's a fun place to try, also one credit.

My kids love Biergarten and Via Napoli. We also really loved Marrakesh, but that one gets mixed reviews too. All of them do really, so eat where the menu appeals to you. I don't know that you can really go wrong in World Showcase

Biergarten would be a blast for the kids. Teppan Edo might be fun too, and the aquarium at Coral Reef makes for a memorable experience as well.

In terms of Italian at WDW, Tutto Italia isn't high on our list, but if the menu appeals, go for it. We happen to like Spice Road at EP, but there are a lot of good places. I would pick what appeals most to you! If you are looking for some type of entertainment factor, consider Biergarten or Akershus.

I love squeezing every drop of value from the DDP! When we use it, I book ADRs where the out of pocket expense would be very high. Akershus is at the bananas level of expensive, over $60 for dinner (including tax). Adults also get an alcoholic beverage if they wish, bringing the total over $74 when adding that expensive glass of wine. The DDP costs about $76 per day, so this is a GREAT value on the DDP. You've nearly paid for the DDP with one meal!

We enjoy the food and character interaction here. My boys, 18 and 13, are very happy with visits by lovely princesses during our meal.

Tutto Italia isn't bad and if the kids like the menu, do it. Via Napoli might better suit the kids and the food is good.
Chef de France is always good if the kids like the kids options.
Coral reef - the food is average, but watching the aquarium makes up for it.
Tepan Edo - if you don't have a Habachi Grill type place at home, this is just fun and good food.
