Advice on SW without coasters?

Can anyone advise me on what are the dont miss shows and activities at Sea World? I'd love a touring plan. I'm not sure the one previously posted fits me. I'm sorry, i really have been bad and didnt do my own homework yet as I just started looking at Sea World today for this weekend's last minute Disney trip. We have a second trip planned for next month and this trip we will be by the convention center so thought Sea World might be perfect.

I have 2 girls 3 and 8 years old - big animal lovers but neither like roller coasters. I think they'd like to feed dolphins or at least I would! I think the Sesame street show is a must for my 3 year old and my 8 year old is a good sport- she wont mind it. My husband will be at a conference and probably join us mid-day or will have to leave mid-day.

Hi. I have one DD who loves coasters and one that does not. I do not ride anything with the words launch or upside down, so that means no manta and no kraken for me. There are only four big rides at SW - Manta, Kraken, Journey to Atlantis, and the Artic one. I rode Atlantis which is a boat ride/roller coaster ride, but I'm not sure if your DD's will be big enough. The Arctic one is a simulator ride. If you don't want to ride it you can walk through and get to the beluga whales and the walrus which is very cool.

We are huge animal lovers too, and they do have some cute kids' rides back in Shamu's Happy Harbor. The shows are spectacular. We did not see the Sesame Street one as my kids are older, but overall I was very impressed at the amount of activities that our entire family could do together.

I think you will have plenty to do between the shows and watching the animals. We could have watch the dolphins, sea lions, and belugas for a long time, and the stingray pool is amazing!

I am sure someone else can give you a better guide than me, but here's what we found fun at SW. My kids are older than yours, but we enjoyed alot without the coasters. Get to the park when it first opens. It should not be very crowded then. Pick up a map. On the back is the guides for the shows and feeding.
That schedule will dictate what times you want to be where. The kids area is near the Shamu Stadium, so see when One Ocean is showing and plan to visit the kids area before or after the show. If you want to do the dophin feeding, the earlier the better. Food is $7 for 5 fish. You can take lots of pictures at the feeding. The kids can feed sharks and rays and sea lions too. The small tray of food was $5.

The pet show was fun and the seamore show was fun (the mime before the show starts is very funny), and Blue Horizons was really good too. If you don't do the Arctic simulator, just say not riding, and see the exhibit after it. Neat to see. The aquarium near the shark feeding is also really fun to go through. Penguin exhibit is also very neat.

The park isn't huge, so I would plan to be in the area near the stadium/show you want to see and get to the show about 1/2 hour before it starts to get a good seat. For One Ocean, at Shamu Stadium, you can bring food into the stadium. Good to have a meal or snack while waiting.

With your age kids, I would just wander where it interests them the rest of the time. There is alot to just see. All the food places have kid's meals, and the food is generally good.
