Advice on strollers

I am not sure whether to buy one from here cheap, and leave it in orlando or purchase one out there its for a 4 year old. Dont fancy paying disney prices as over the 2 weeks will add up.
Niamh is abt 50Ibs.
Has anyone else bought a pushchair out there? If so where from.
If i ordered one online from wallmart with a food order will they deliver it to the disney resort?

Having had a child who wanted to walk everywhere all the time, I haven't used one. You don't drive do you? (In Florida I mean)? If I needed something like that I would buy a collapsable lightweight stroller with a hood that can be retracted if possible online a week before departure and have it delivered to the resort/hotel

I bought a very cheap one from Toys R Us before we left for DS4,it cost about £15, and then left it outside Spaceship Earth before we caught a cab back to the airport on our last day.It came in very handy

Thankyou both. We dont drive no lee. I know daves daughter wont need the pushchair this end and will be just something extra to carryCharlotte was the same lee walked everywhere but niamh is a bit lazy and to be honest runs off and doesnt listen already bought wrist strap. Charlotte and I have a few days planned on our own for some quality mom and daughter time at least if dave has a pram he can strap her in
Do wall mart do delivery to the resorts or not?

I personally would want to push a 4 year old in a cheap stroller - DD still wouldn't walk the distances in February at 3yr 8mths and weighs around 35lbs - pushing her was hard work and we have a good stroller.

We have a Baby Jogger City Mini however you can hire them from companies in Orlando and they will deliver to your hotel. I would recommend using Magic Strollers - same company as Owners Locker. Strollers are in great condition with excellent customer service.

Renting like this will be less than park strollers but more than buying a cheap stroller.

Just checked tht site and they are sold out for our dates. May get one off ebay.tht is my only worry with the cheaper ones as they tend to tip up and are not very good on the old back. Im gonna work out how many days we may need one then take it from there.

We have just got back and we bought a stroller for $32 inc tax from Walgreens they all have them but we went to the one on i4 and got a Disney fairy one! It is ideal for the parks very light weight had a canope and folded down to nothing! I would highly recommend!! It was no trouble at all pushing a four year old in it, but in only 5' 4'' x

Thanks caroline. I am 5 ft9 and db is 5ft 8 . At the end of the day I can pop into toys r us check the height we need without breaking our backs

we ummed and ahhed over this decision as well. I have twins who are 18mths and a 4 year old, i'd already bought seperate strollers for the twins but i couldnt decide on my older son as he hasn't used a buggy for a long time. In the end tho i decided i'd rather have one and not need it than the alternative. I'd considered buying one out there but then thought about the time at the airports and again decided i'd prefer to have one before we go!

I'm glad i did now, we did a long day out recently - (less walking than we're likely to do in WDW!) and he was knackered by the afternoon running around and what not. Plus he fell and hurt his foot so required carrying for a while
I also thought it'd be good to have an option for him to rest in the evening if we're out eating late etc .

My girls will be nearly three when we go and i thought about buying a cheap one but then thoguth against t, we took a stroller last year and they were not two and they walked most places or was on our shoulders

This year we shall take a stroller but leave in car or at hotel as girls will want to walk or ride with nanny as she will have one of those electric wheelchair things

we bought a stroller at sears (florida mall) for roughly £45
DS is very short and lightweight for his age. 30lbs and 38in at age 4 so the stroller was ok
but the stroller proved to be too small for DS to be comfortable to sleep in full recline

Umbrella strollers ... we wouldn't go with that. Too painful to push around parks all day

For our trip in october we've rented a city elite from orlando strollers rental

they deliver and pick up at any resort hotel in WDW
It's a bit expensive ($110 for 3 weeks plus $20 insurance) but the stroller you get is well worth it
