A somewhat related question:
How accurate are the wait times on the Universal app? I'm reading about long lines, but looking at the app right now, the wait times listed are under 20 minutes for just about all rides except Kong and Despicable Me, which are showing 45 minutes.

I find it to be pretty accurate when I use the app. This is a slow time for the parks. HHN kicks off in a couple of days and lines will start to ramp up.

Is there a Universal app? I just have the Touring Plans Lines for Universal app.

yes, there is an official Universal app, similar to the WDW one. It's got a map with the resorts, parks, restaurants. I think it's only for phones, can't download it on tablets, but I could be wrong.
