Advice on paying for meals with DDP

As we all know, some restaurants require 2 dining credits (sigh), which obviously cuts into using dining credits on other days, so if you want to eat, you have to pay....(again, sigh). Now I know we don't HAVE to book restaurants that charge 2 dining credits, but the last time 2x ive been in the parks, we havent done Cinderellas Royal table for this very reason. Now that were finally heading back, I really want to finally give this place a try. In addition to Cinderellas, I have heard nothing but great things about Hoop De Du Revue, so naturally I wanted to give this place a try as well. These are both majorly popular places with rave reviews and the past 2x I have gone I haven't done either of them, so I felt like it was appropriate to sacrifice 4 credits for these experiences, but now I'm wondering if just paying for hoop de due review would be cheaper than paying for two dinners?

Does anyone have any reccomendations on what to do in this situation? I really don't want to skip on doing both seeing as we have never done either of them.

Thanks in advance!

We don't use the DDP, but I would pay cash for those instead of using 2 credits. It seems to me like you would get more "value" out of two dining credits by using them at two separate TS meals.

I never do more than 1 ADR that requires 2 credits per trip.
I bring breakfast items from home, usually eat a QS lunch and TS dinner, and snacks between meals.
This always works out so that I am never paying for anything as its all absorbed in the dining plan.
I would suggest you do one this trip and one on a future trip unless you believe this is the last time you will go.
If you REALLY want to do BOTH then pay OOP for a couple of a la carte TS and choose items that are on the less expensive side to minimize how much you end up paying OOP.

I enjoy using our DP for signature restaurants. We do not use all of our snack credits, we are not dessert people. We order groceries for breakfast, bring our own water and Gatorade.

You can use 3 snack credits for 1 QS, so we end up using our snack credits.
