Le Cellier has nothing available for the day that we will be there. What other restaurants are comparable to Le Cellier? We are a party of 8, with 3 kids that are 12, 14, and 17. Thanks!:)

Carol:)

If you are looking for steak place, you can leave the park through the International Gateway entrance/exit and walk to the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club Resort (maybe a 5 minute walk from the park).

If you are not specifically looking for a steak place, there are many other Epcot/Boardwalk options available that you could choose for your day at Epcot. Coral Reef and Flying Fish (on the Boardwalk) are seafood, then there are several places that are specific to the countries in World Showcase and Spoodles, also on the Boardwalk that offer tons of variety, depending on what interests you.

My 3 sons, all in their 20's, all loved Le Cellier and all liked Yachtsman. They hated Chefs de France (all 3 did), they were all "okay" with Coral Reef although none of them are fish-eaters. Every place else, had a mix of yea's or nay's, depending on personal preference for food type.

I would definitely go to Yachtman's for a steakhouse. Its a little more pricey than Le Cellier- but worth it- the food is wonderful and the service is too.

I assume you're looking for a restaurant in Epcot? If it's anything like Teppanyaki was, IMO, you can't possibly go wrong with Teppan Edo. The menu looks similar, though there have been no reviews yet. It's definitely where I'd go.

There's nothing QUITE like Le Cellier, thus the point of the WS. It matters a little if you are doing DDP or not. Yachtsman's is more pricey, and two credits on DDP. There's also Shula's at the Dolphin for steak, but I do't think it's on DDP. If you want a single DDP credit American food place, the Yacht club is pretty good, but not steak so much (also at YC). The braised beef sandwich was quite good, but not equal to the steak at Le Cellier if you're using DDP. I guess it's gone now, but they used to have the cutest dessert there for kids: paint your own cupcake and white chocolate puzzle.

Thanks for the advice.:goodvibes I definitely want to dine in Epcot. I do not have a DDP. We have dined at Le Cellier before, but years ago. The others where we have eaten are: Chefs de France, China?, Japan?, Mexico?, and the one that is slowly turning while you eat?. For some reason, I cannot think of the names, just the countries.

I just want our dining experience to include yummy cuisine, and be a special part of our "Disney" memories.:)

How is dining in Germany? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.:coffee:

The rotating one is called Garden Grill, and if you are looking for "yummy cuisine", this is not the place for it.

Yeah...the Garden Grill. We last ate there in 1999, so it's been a little while.

My personal favorites are Germany, Mexico, Canada, and England. All are yummy.

Garden Grill is a nice "combo" meal...it has the unique feature of the entire restaurant rotating, characters, scenery (from The Land ride below), and good food.

DH and I ate @ Biergarten last month. I was a bit apprehensive as I'm not very fond of German food in general, but it was great! There is enough variety on the buffet for even the pickiest of eaters and the show is really fun.

Coral Reef is a favorite of ours. Especially with the Tank. The kids may enjoy that. Marrakesh is also good. popcorn::

You might want to try the recently refurbushed Teppan Edo. Here's the link with photos and menus:http://www.wdwinfo.com/Photos/Mitsukoshi/index.htm

The DIS Unplugged just reviewed Tokyo Dining for the sushi. They said the refurb was outstanding and the service very good.

The hibachi tables seat eight so it would be perfect for your group. My DW, DS and DD dined there for the millennium NYE and really enjoyed the food. My DW and I have an ADR for lunch in December. :)
