Hi

We are going on our first Disney cruise for our 10th anniversary with kids of 3 and 5. We are going on the Eastern on 21st August.

I have booked the REAS, and left the reservations to DUL to advise.

The following have been made:

Palo - dinner - Monday, August 23rd 8:30pm
Palo - brunch - Thursday, August 26th 11:30am
Palo - tea - Sunday, August 22nd 3:30pm
Well-Being massage - Monday, August 23rd 3:30pm

My question - are these the best dates. We really don't want to miss any of the shows and would enjoy the foramal night.

Do you guys think these dates are good or should I be looking to rearrange?

many thanks

D

Here is what you need to consider... Formal night is Sunday and semi-formal night is Thursday. The first two nights are at sea. That's Saturday night and Sunday Night.

I think you've mapped it out great! I wouldn't change a thing!

Good Job!

Many thanks

One more question. All this talk about dining rotation. Can I put in a request in advance?

If so, I guess I want Lumiere's for formal night, and the important one is not to have AP on the Monday since that is my Palo dinner, and if I miss the AP I hear they don't have the full experience on the second visit there.

Given all that, and I hope it maskes some sense to someone, which rotation would I be best with?

Thanks again

I thought:

Sea days (and nights) are Sunday, Monday, and Thursday (well, Sat too, but that is leaving port day :D ).

Formal Night - Sunday, Semi-Formal - Thursday

Tropicali Night is Tuesday, Captain's Gala is on Thursday.

I guess it all dependes which dinning rotation you choose, as well. You should be able to get your dinning rotation in with the REAS, I think.

The shows start at 6:30 and 8:30, I believe. You will need to go to the early show if you want 8:30 seating at Palo (and want to see that show). I am not sure which ones are on what days, but you can check the Navigators at several sites. Just ask if you need those web addresses.

Enjoy the package!!

Lumieres on formal night (Sunday) means Animators Palate on Monday (PLA). Someone correct me if I am wrong, so you may want to consider a different rotation than Lumieres on Formal Night (or move Palo, or double dip with early seating and skip the show) :headache: :rolleyes1

Rotations: LAPLAPL, APLAPLA, PLAPLAP

We requested PLA and were told we would probably get it. Here's what we're doing :

SUN : 8:30 Palo's
MON : 11:30 Brunch
THUR : 8:15 Character BKF

Formal night is fine for us for PALO'S, don't like dressing up on a Caribbean cruise anymore than we have to

Thanks for the idea of having brunch at 11:30...that takes care of BKF and Lunch ! What is the latest you can go to Palo's Brunch ?

you can call Debbie back at DCL, and ask her to set your dining rotation as part of your REAS package.
