I know there is lots of information on here, but I just can't decide which resort to book for June.

I am looking at Poly which sounds great, but I am very concerned about it being older and worn and maybe not as clean and fresh looking. My DD6 is really into Hawaii things right now.

I also would like to stay at the WL. It is less expensive and sounds good too.

I think I would like GF but seems too pricey.

My 4th option is a studio at Saratoga Springs. I like the idea that it is brand new and fresh. I am not sure about the location or amenities.

We will be going 2 times and will stay at 2 resorts.. but which 2?

I think your plan to try them both is a good one. Don't worry about the Poly, it's very nice and has lots of other charms too. Personally, I like the CR a lot as well. Have fun!! :wizard:

I had the same thoughts about the Poly before I stayed there. I always rode past it on the monorail and thought it looked so dark and old. We walked through it though while we were over at the GF. Came over for the Luau & we thought maybe we'd try it sometime. WE LOVED IT! It's our favorite. Loved the location, loved the room, loved the concierge staff. It wasn't old and dated like I had thought. It was clean and fresh with nice large bathrooms. It's a magical place & I was sold on it by most of the people here & Tikiman's website. Go for the Poly!

I vote for the Wilderness Lodge. The theming is wonderful, the rooms are an adequate size, and the boat ride to the Magic Kingdom is relaxing.

My daughter turned 8 while at the Lodge and she loved it. We have also stayed at the Boardwalk Villas and we both want to return to the Lodge

The WL is defintiely a great resort!!! I love the serenity of it, the pool is terrific, I love taking the boat to the MK. I'd defintiely stay there as one of oyur choices.

I have never stayed at the Poly, so I can't speak about the "worn-ness" of it as far as its age is concerned. I have eaten there and wandered around the main building, and I htink it's nice.

Have you considered the Yacht or Beach Club? It is within walking/boating distance to 2 of the major parks, the pool, Stormalong bay, is second to none at WDW. It's always been a favorite of ours for its location, access to the Boardwalk, the pool.
