We are cruising with Disney for the 5th time this May but it will be the first time with an infant. My granddaughter who will be 6 months old will be with us and I want to make sure we have everything she could possibly need. One question I do have is the formula. Her formula is mixed with bottled water. I don't remember bottled water on the ship.. will I have trouble finding it? Or... would it be better to buy premixed formula... but then I worry about refrigerating it... wow... so many questions... I appreciate any advice/suggestions. I want to be prepared. It has been a very long time since I have had to travel with an infant.

Thanks in advance...

Rhonda

I am pretty sure that you can get a refridgerator for your room if you ask in advance for it...like now. I have heard from this board that there is a fridge already in the rooms but they have other ones that you can have to keep things especially cold like medication and formula. Being a mom of a 2 year old and a 1 year old I would say that switching from powdered formula to premixed formula would be more upseting to the system then using tap water for the bottle. Even if you do go with premixed you still will have to lug it onboard with you so why not just lug the bottled water with you instead. This might all be moot if they provide bottled water but you will probably pay dearly for it! Have a good time!!

If you are renting a car or getting a car service how about seeing if you could stop at a grocery store and get a case of bottled water? You can put a luggage tag on it and check it in with the porters at the dock and then you'd have bottled water for the bottle and not have to pay a fortune for it on the ship. I remember bottled water being something like 2.75 for a bottle of evian so if you could possibly stop at a grocery store and pick up a case of bottled water it would be the easiest. Also the rooms do have the "fridge" although ours didnt work good at all. Thankfully my youngest was 3 but I dont know if I'd want to chance the fridge for premade formula.

That's my one and only suggestion.:D
