I start, i have a car on PCP the programme where you pay monthly and at the end of the 36 months you can hand back with nothing to pay.

Well i have been looking at handing it in early like it says in the small print i can as long as i pay the amount that they wish.

I rang the finance people who explains that if i do this i will have a mark on my credit history.

It does not mention anywhere about this, i have scanned the small small print, and it says nothing, it explains what i need to do which i'm willing to do.

Any ideas, is she trying to scare me into staying or is it true.

Well have never heard anything like that before. I would think as long as you are up to date with your repayments and you pay the allowence for ending the contract early, I cant see how they can mark you down for anything on your credit record. I dont know for definate though, maybe somebody else can help.

Thanks,

I up to date and have never defaulted on any payments. I thought if i adhear to the agreement rules, ie in the small print i would be okay.

Sue's right. So long as you pay what & when they want you to pay it you will have no 'black mark' on your credi file
