Advice on choosing a cruise

Hello!
I was lucky enough to win the Year of Wishes sweepstakes on Twitter. The prize was supposed to be plane tickets, a night at a WDW resort, transportation to the port, and then the pre-Maiden voyage cruise on the Wish on June 5th.

I notified them that I’m a gestational carrier and that the sailing date is actually right around my due date and they generously said that I could pick 3 dates that work for me for a different cruise on the Wish anytime before 6/5/23.

Besides my schedule and the weather are there any factors I should consider in choosing a cruise? They’re all the same itinerary (Nassau, Castaway Cay) and we don’t celebrate Halloween or Christmas (although we enjoyothers enjoyment of them). But are there any other things I’m not thinking of that would make one date better or worse than another?
TIA

When schools are out (spring/fall break, holidays or summer) there are likely to be more kids on board (depending on Covid and restrictions). You mentioned weather...hurricanes in late summer and possibly chilly/windy in January and February.
Congratulations!

Pregnant ladies are not allowed to sail after 24 weeks. The ship is not equipped to handle a premature infant and won't take the risk. I'd choose a much earlier sail date. Does it have to be on the Wish?

ETA: Sorry, I misread your deadline. I thought you had until next June to sail.

As others mentioned, weather can be quite chilly in late Dec-early March, as in sweatshirts and long pants. Hurricane season begins in June and ends November 30. Personally, I like late March to early April. It gives me something to look forward to all winter but we don't have to deal with potential snowy weather for travel.
Since you mentioned children of your own, I'd choose June, or when they get out of school. Depending where you live, you might want to allow a few extra days after school ends in case they add on snow days. This is a popular time to cruise and usually the most expensive, along with the week after Christmas. Since you don't have to pay for it, might as well choose when it's most convenient for you.

1. How generous of you to support another person’s dream of having a baby.
2. Congratulations on the cruise!
3. Personally, I think August is a great time to cruise because hurricane season isn’t really going yet, the weather and water are still warm, but the crowds have dropped a bit from peak summer. If your own kids are older though, they might have school or sports conflicts. Plus Florida for your WFW stay would be really hot. We also always enjoy our spring break cruises in March very much.
