Advice on car hire problem....

I swear I searched every single car hire website in the first five pages of google. None of them came out anywhere near Airline Network.

Then I try that link, and it is £30 cheaper! Only a £5 saving when we factor in the £25 cancellation fee but who cares.

Just another opinion on the timings of your pickups - it really doesn't matter what times you give, providing your dates are right, and the drop off time is not later than your pick up time (if that makes sense, otherwise you would be going into another day of rental). Your flight arrival times are only estimates anyway - lots of flights are delayed, and this doesn't affect your car hire pick up.

Last year, we had a lot of family arrive on the same flight, all booked car hire with Dollar, and there weren't enough cars to go around - they were literally waiting for cars to be returned, valeting them, and giving them straight out to next in line. This was despite the fact they had all given their arrival times, and the flight number, and the flight was on time. They tend not to have 'your car' related to 'your booking' ready at a particular time, they just check your voucher, and give you the closest car they have available to the one you paid for!

Long story short, I wouldn't bother altering your reservation.

Why thank you . Just make sure that when you cancel with Airline Network you tell them precisley why!

Airline Network are the direct arm of the Gold Medal travel group - every travel agent in the country uses gold medal for travel all over the world. They are this countries biggest consolidator and have been voted best for about the last 10 years,
You do not have to inform them that you'll be late picking up the car, like another poster says your clock starts ticking once they hand the keys over. Do not worry, you won't have to pay any extra unless you return it later than the hour when you picked it up

oh, just adding, as a travel agent I wouldn't have charged the £25 and I've have beaten any car rental price you had!
direct isn't always cheaper!
