My son will be 3 months from his third birthday when we go to Disney in 11 days. (YAY!!!:cheer2: ). Anyway, I wanted to do a welcome gift that focused on Jake and the Neverland pirates, since we will be having breakfast at Hollywood & Vine first thing on our first full day. Problem 1: We will be at Epcot on arrival day, and have a character meal there, so a welcome gift doesn't really make sense after that. Problem 2: I thought about having the Jake doll I got for him hold an envelope with an invitation to breakfast with him, but he can't read.
Any ideas?:confused3

You might be overthinking it... a toddler is happy with a gift ANY time! What about putting it out after he goes to sleep the first night, so he wakes up to it the first morning?

Are you going straight to Epcot without stopping at your hotel? If so then I agree with PP about leaving something out overnight. But if you are stopping at the room first maybe your spouse can distract your little one while you put something in the room for him?

If you like the envelope idea, maybe you could find a screen shot of Jake and the gang having a picnic. Then, you can tell him what the words say but he can see it as well. For something like that, I'd almost just give it to him as you were on your way to the meal though since he'd either forget if it was the night before or else get upset it wasn't going to be immediately happening.
