Advice on 2 year olds

Take them! DD was 18 months when we went for the first time and still talks about it! We're going back and she can't wait to ride the monorail and the "Big Ball" again. If the argument about kids not remembering it really held any weight- why would people throw lavish 1st birthday parties? Decorate nurseries? Heck, why buy baby toys- they won't remember them...
You will remember the fun! Take breaks and enjoy it from a kid's view.

I took my DS(8) and my DD(2) last August to WDW for a week and my DD has not stopped talking about it since we got home!! EVERY DAY she asks to go back to see "Mick Mouse" and give him a hug, she wants to ride Dumbo again and now is asking to ride the rollercoaster! I can't wait to take her back this August!

I think it truly depends on the child...

My son has been several times since 6 weeks, at 2 and 5 months, he started showing an opinion as to what he wanted to do! Before that the joy on his face was priceless! He would always come home and talk about Mickey but after the 2 yr old trip he talked about it all the time, we went again 5 months later and then 3 months later, just turning 3 and he knows what he wants to do, tells us about the rides, etc. He is not scared of anything that he can go on and to be honest our trips with him aren't much different then before he was born. He is a good stroller napper so goes to sleep in there. If he is sleeping we people watch, usually have lunch or whatever so we don't have get him out and wake him up. I could never get him from park to hotel without waking up so we don't bother going back to the room. I think take the 2 year old, especially because he is FREE!

Make sure you get a stroller(double) and bring either a spring coat or balnket for both girls so they can nap when needed it makes the parks more enjoyable. When their napping just shop.

We are wanting to take our 6 & 2 year old daughters to WDW and we are wondering if the 2 year old is too young, won't remember WDW and be exhausted the entire time. The trip will cost a lot of money and we want the kids to have fun. Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

Our 2 year old DD, LOVED our trip! We took breaks, and she remembers a lot - especially the characters she met at the character meals we had.

I am so glad this question was asked! My nephew will be about 2-1/2 years old in May 2007 and this is when we are planning on going to Disney. I was wondering how a 2 year old would be and now I have the answers. Thanks so much to all of you DIS members. I love this site! :cool1:
