Okay, since I was two, I've wanted to be a vet, or work with animals. Now, I'm thinking I want to do something Disney-related, where I can move down to Florida to work. Do you know any animal-related jobs in WDW, besides Animal Kingdom? Like, do they have veterinarians in the kennels at Disney? Thanks for the info! :dog2:

I'm not quite sure about that. You will have to call a disney kennel and ask if they have vets. If not, I'm sure there will be other vet hospitals near by. I wanted to be a vet as well, but as I got older I'm not very fond of wounds and cuts. Lol.

i agree with tiinkerbell, they probably have vet offices around disney you could work at, or you could pet sit at disney's kennel.

Hmm, that gave me an idea. I think I'll Google it, and see if they have any information about it. The local clinics idea is brilliant; I should've thought of that one. I'll pass on the Sea World thing; I'm not much for marine animals.

sorry cant help! i wanna work at disney 2 that would be so awesome! i want 2 be bell or snowhite! princess:

sea World would be an awsome job to do if you wanna work with animals, and be down in florida.

Maleficient- this is Jr. Prongs. You CAN'T move to Florida. I won't let you even if I have to Spellotape you to a broomstick and stuff you in my trunk. I won't let you!!!!!

How sweet of you, Prongs Jr. Well, I'm talking about when I've graduated college, although I'm thinking of doing the WDW College Program. And what kind of trunk would that be? I don't think Mad Eye would loan it to you. I think he's a little wary about the bodies that end up in it.

I agree with Ginny i wont let you move either and i need to talk to you about that WDW program

honey, of course theyd have vets at the kennels! what happens if one of the animals accidently got hurt, or sick, or was having babies or something? hey it could happen...XD...anyway, and if not, obviously animal kingdom has them. duh. just, look into it. ^_^

i myself am trying to get to be a tour guide. im such a disney nutball, and the tour guides get to make up stories about all the rides and such. i wonder if disney will let me sport bright pink hair.... it'll be my excuse for my group to find me easier...

happy hunting! and if i find any information, i'll be sure to pass it your way! :goodvibes

There is def an animal kennel at Disney World...and if you had the education and the expertise, I'm SURE they'd let you do something like that.

Futhermore, when you go to college, if you are majoring in that, I bet there is a chance that they allow interns as well......

Yes, but I've heard it's hard to get a job there, because you have to be so qaulified.

::yes:: this is true... youd have better luck aiming for disney than you would sea world. but you never know. my zoology teacher worked there, and she said it was very memorable, and they need more help than youd think. the reasons why you have to be so qualified is because some of the animals (i.e. the killer whales, polar bears...etc...) are quite dangerous, and there have been incidents where people were killed. im not saying animal kingdom is safer, but i think itd be better to try and start at one of the park kennels.

the only problem is with the college program, is that in order to be part of it, you have to have a full semester of college completed already. im going to try and get a job anyway as just "getting a job at disney" and then after a semester do the college program.
