Advice needed :

Well, actually pirate wenches (or those that want ta be!) can stay around fer ta RUM!!!

heheheheheheh

Sounds like ya gots a handle on the wings thing!!!!

Well actually, I'm more confused now than whenever I started the thread, there are like 100 different ways to do these freckin wings....ok let me get this straight, roll, flour and fry in rum, ok now I'm set...hehe

Better yet, get everyone drunk and then serve the wings, they will be perfect everytime!

Here is a recipe from our neighbor which is extremely easy and very tasty. I cooked a bunch of these for DS's HS graduation party.

Buy fresh wings - I prefer the ones that are already cut and tips removed.

Bake in oven for about half hour. This can be done earlier in the day. Right before serving, throw partially cooked wings on the grill for a few minutes to finish cooking and crisp up.

Take off grill and toss in a sauce made up of Ken's hot sauce and butter. We use a 50 - 50& mixture. Use less hot sauce for milder wings, more for spicier.

If you are talking Buffalo wings - my very first job when I was a teenager was at a wing place.

Deep fry the wings until cooked and skin is crispy. While still hot from the fryer, toss them into a bowl (with a lid) along with a couple of scoops of sauce. Shake until coated and serve as soon as possible.

Sauce recipe was:

Liquid butter (not melted just that stuff that comes in the squirt bottle)
Red Hot sauce
ground celery seasoning
red hot pepper flakes (for the insane - lol!)

The liquid butter is the base and just add the hot sauce in to whatever your heat preference is. Of course, use the pepper flakes for that ones that like their mouths burnt off when eating wings!

Go directly to your nearest Sam's, Costco or other big box. Go to freezer section and grab large bag of wings. Follow directions on bag. Pour a drink while they are cooking.

The Tyson Tequila Lime wings are particularly good. Especially paired with a good margarita.

Ok this is what I ended up doing, going to Sams Club and buying a couple of bags of the Tyson Tequila Lime wings and we tested out a few tonight for tasty quality and found them to be very very good. Thank you!

Everything else has been noted in my head for a later time. I will try other things out whenever I'm not trying to feed so many people. :thumbsup2
