Hi! So I'm going to be in California May 13/14/15, which is a Sunday/Monday/Tuesday. I was originally planning on visiting the hotels and Downtown Disney area on Sunday, then going to the parks on Monday and Tuesday, because I expected it to be quieter on Monday/Tuesday than on Sunday.

HOWEVER I just found out that Tuesday will be a 'Grad Nite'. I have no idea what that means for how busy the parks will be.

Should I switch my plans to go to the parks Sunday/Monday and make Tuesday my hotels/Downtown Disney/relaxing day, or will it still be quieter on a Grad Nite Tuesday than on a Sunday?

OR does it not really matter and it's going to be busy either way?!

Thanks in advance :)

If it was me I would lean towards going Sunday instead of Tuesday. However, you may be exchanging one problem for a different one. Sundays can be busy because Saturdays are often blocked for many AP holders. See https://disneyland.disney.go.com/passes/blockout-dates/?month=4. So it is hard to say.

If you stick with Tuesday, that would be a better day to visit DL because the grads will be mostly at DCA and more towards the evening.

Keep in mind we’re not sure how bad grad Nites will affect the parks this year. Disney drastically raised ticket prices and offered grads: party or upgrade to DCA & party or upgrade to park hopper and party.
Personally I’d do Sun because it should have longer hours.
