arghhh ive already lost this the content of this thread once- annoying computers! :badpc:

Anyways... I need some advice on when to book- its causing a lot of stress! :confused3

A little background information:

My boyfriend and I are planning on going to New York for 4 days and then flying to Orlando for 2 weeks to celebrate our uni graduation :wizard: (Boyfriend is a newbie so I'm the main planner!). The dates we are looking for is leaving approx. on the 18th June and then leaving New York from approx. 22nd June to Orlando for 2 weeks til the 7th July.
We both have been working really hard and financially we are both ready to book now. We have a budget of about £4000 for the both of us to include everything (flights, hotels, spending money food etc).
We have been researching for the last month and obtained quotes from the travel agents and the net.
The best quote we found was with First Choice for £1100 each to include flights (london-new york-orlando-london) and a 3 star hotel in New York and 2 weesk at All stars/Pop.
As we are students, we are told that we can get flights for about £450 including tax (london-new york-orlando-london) but these have not been released yet.
Based on this we decided to wait for this release. We found a quote from disney for 2 weeks pop and 14 day ultimate tickets (and a free clock!) for both of us for £1000 which we thought was excellent.

Now here is the dilemma:
All the original quotes we have received have gone up in price- The disney quote is now near £1200 in price. I was planning on waiting til after christmas as i think maybe the prices are rising now in the run up to christmas and in the sales flights will be cheaper. Is this foolish to think?
Also all the travel agents we spoke to were stressing that most internal flights were nearly sold out? Is this true- we both thought it was strange that flights would be sold out this far in advance!?

Any advice would be appreciated! TIA! :grouphug:

Take a look at the JetBlue website for internal flights from NY to MCO:

For WDW quotes - try DreamsUnlimited (the DIS travel agents). You get your own agent who will look after your booking and dining reservations etc. and also apply any discount codes that are release after you book :)
I would also look into an Annual Pass (only the person making the booking needs one), to see if your could get an Annual Pass discount for you accommodation. It make save you quite a bit. You will also be able to get the Disney Dining Experience card with you Annual Pass to get 20% off meals in WDW, as well as other discounts in the shops etc.
