I am very sorry for your loss,
@linco711 May his memory be a blessing.
With a February Use Year, this is probably not the most important thing on your plate. It can sit for a while. You don't have any "
DVC deadlines" unitl September. So, my first suggestion is to not worry about this particular thing right this second, to give yourself the space to do other things. Speaking as someone who recently ended a marriage, one of those things could be to give yourself the space to grieve.
In the next month or so, you will want to cancel this reservation, and offer the points for rent. I will let others chime in on the easiest way to do that. If I were in your situation, I would not "do it myself", but would instead have a broker handle most of the details for me. I would get paid a little less that way, but in this situation I'd think that would be okay. Whatever you don't have committed renters for by the end of September can be banked into your 2026 UY.
I would not make any "longer term" decisions about what to do with these contracts right now. You have plenty of time. One common piece of advice I hear around the recovery tables: Don't make any big decisions for about the first year after a major change like this. It can take that long for me to wrap my head around what things mean.
