Advice needed please

My fiance and I are heading down for our first trip alone. No kids. We can't decide whether to eat at Tusker House or Yak and Yeti at AK. A friend of mine says we have to go to Tusker House but I gotta admit that the menu isn't thrilling me. Help. Which is better?

I say if the menu doesn't appeal to you go somewhere it does.

Haven't found a meal we didn't like, except Boma's. To sweet for our tastes ( and the is saying something coming from my DH who is a sweet tooth ).
The menu really didn't appeal to me there but went off people's opinions and was the only time I wasn't happy.

When I listen to myself concerning the menus, haven't been disappointed yet.

I personally didn't like Yak and Yeti for lunch. I ate there with my sis, bro in law, mom and dad; and none of us really liked it. We are pretty easy to please, but we won't be going back there. Just my opinion. I have never been to Tusker House. We like Rainforest Cafe too.

I'll just add to the mix - I've never been to Tusker House, but we really loved Yak n Yeti when we were there in January. I'm not wowed by many Disney restaurants but Y&Y was definitely a favorite we'll be going back to.

We really enjoyed TH for breakfast but we did not like Y&Y at all for lunch. It was worse than mall food court Chinese food so we won't be going back any time soon.

I have never been to TS but ate at Y&Y this past july. We loved the food and atmosphere. I had the bourbon chicken with jasmine rice and it was excellent! Also, they have great alcoholic drinks! I got the Yak Attack and it was beyond amazing!!! I dont think you would be disappointed with Y&Y

We went to Tusker House for a 2pm brunch with the finding Nemo preferred seating. The Tusker House Buffet was a big disapointment to our large crowd of 15 plus children. Things we thought were normal, had odd flavorings, for instance the Ceasar salad looked like ceasar salad but tasted nothing like it at all!! In our Restaurant guide it gets 1 1/2 stars, but we think that was one too many stars!! The food was horrible and we will spend our dining credits elsewhere!!
We loved Yak and Yeti counter service though!! We did not eat at the table service, but will consider it on our next visit!

Loved Tusker House for lunch.
The special Nemo seats were a bonus.

The Tusker buffet has a good selection. My very picky friend was happy with green beans, a pasta dish, a few other dishes and a bagel sandwich. Yummy desserts.

We ate at both the Tusker House buffet breakfast and Y&Y lunch last year. We always love a character breakfast buffet, so had fun at TH, but it wasn't anything that you couldn't get at a different buffet. We enjoyed Y&Y. I would go Y&Y if that is the menu that appeals to you more.

Thanks all. We've decided on Y&Y but we do have some time open another day so we may end up at Tusker house that day. Thanks for the help!
