My mate and I will be buying Dream AP's this year, not sure when though.

Our little problem is we may consider coming to Disney for New Years Eve and we originally intended to buy the AP's on our visit in Early Oct for Halloween but we are thinking that buy the time we have bought our passes and then try and get accom for over New Year there won't be any rooms left?:scared1:

Has anyone got any opinions on if this might be the case and we should buy the AP's when we go in June and flog our park tickets on Ebay when we get back and then try and make a booking?

Also does anyone know if you have to supply 2 passport style photos and if its better to buy at the entrance or at the AP office in the park?

And another quickie, I know when you go through the turnstiles with a regular ticket it is punched, how do you go through with an AP?

TIA

You get your photograph taken at the annual passport bureau so no need to have your own photos.
We've normally bought a temporary AP at the gate - guest relations on the right hand side as if heading towards DLH entrance.

Your AP goes through the turnstile machine just like every other ticket :)

Bumping this slightly as wanted to know would I be able to book a room for New Years Eve early oct and get a room or would they all be gone?

We went last Nye, booked our room in aug but then a family member decided to come too and we got them a room on the 10th oct- so should be ok

You could always book a room at My Travel Explorers, then cancel it if you manage to book more preferred hotel, when you go in October.
