Hi all,
So I haven't been to Disney in two years - but we have the opportunity to go for a very quick stay... So we're going to Magic Kingdom on my daughter's eighth birthday - on 2/23. Not surprisingly, CRT appears to be booked. I am debating the idea of making a dinner reservation at Akershus and taking the time to get from MK to Epcot just so we can get a special birthday dinner. Crystal Palace isn't a great option - since we're a bit beyond the Winnie the Pooh days.

Advice? Am I insane to want to go from MK to Epcot during a single day at Disney and then having to walk all the way to Norway, etc.?? Certainly would take away from what we're able to do at MK... Is there a potential for a CRT cancellation? OR is there another spot you'd all recommend for a special lunch or dinner that would be less inconvenient??
Thanks to all.

You could do the 1900 Park Fare dinner at the Grand Floridian resort. Then you could just take the monorail from MK to the resort. Cinderella, Prince Charming and the step sisters are there...its a fun dinner. :)

Or, along the same line you could take the monorail over to The Contrmporary for dinner at Chef Mickey...

Also, keep trying for CRT....maybe something will open up ...good luck!

Both great suggestions! Keep trying for CRT if that's really what you want, but I would make a backup ADR just in case. 1900 is a great backup!

But I have done MK and Epcot all in one day before and it was great! We only had one day and I wanted to go to both my favorite parks. Of course this was before DS came along!
