Advice needed on planning

I am planning 2 more trips in 2017 to use the Annual passes I just bought. One trip will be the 1st week of May and the 2nd trip will be the last week of Sept. so we can do HHN again.
One trip will have to be off site or at CB but I want to do one on site at one of the 3 with EP.
So questions:
Which one should we do onsite with EP?
Should I go ahead and book it now and watch for AP discounts as the date gets closer?

May RPR is $216 CB is $115
Sept RPR is $190 CB is $100

I was more asking is Spring or fall better for having the EP?

If I had to make that choice , I would do rpr for the fall trip

Parks will have crowds each week that Hhn begins
But the ep will come in handy

Parks will not be packed but you will be close to the hotel if it is horribly hot where you can rest at late afternoon (or do pool time) before you return for Hhn

May is nice and one of my favorite times in the first week of that month
Stay at Cbay for that trip

Grad bash or maybe it is grad adventure that will happen on two Friday's that month

Those Friday's will close at 6 but you will still have EE for the morning and have a complete park day
