Hi all, hope everyone is well.

I was just wondering if anyone had been to disney land in january. I'm hoping to go on 18th jan for 3 nights at the sequoia, but am just worried about the weather and if rides are going to be open. I've read afew posts saying certain rides are closed around this time and just wanted to know other people experiences and any tips you might have. I hope I made that sort of clear. Thanx again guys to anyone who replies or reads.

ps will be going with my 2 boys aged 19 mths and 4 if that helps.

THANX:cheer2: :grouphug: :cheer2:

Hi,
Doesn't matter when you go there are usually a couple of rides off for maintenance, they are listed on the park maps and website I think. I think as long as you are prepared for it to be cold you'll be fine. Wrap up warmly and schedule in lots of breaks for hot drinks. Travelling with young children I would also take some calpol etc because it can be difficult to find things like that when you're there. My first aid kit is usually bigger than my suitcase:rotfl2: I even take paper stitches just in case anyones leg falls off or anything:lmao:

Disneyland Paris has been designed for bad weather in mid, most of the rides and shows are inside, and there are routes you can take througout the park to minimise getting wet etc.

January is a great time to go because the parks tend to be very quiet so there shouldnt be much of a queue. Weekends are very busy all year round so you may want to just go mid week (hotel prices are cheaper too).

Here is the closure list for January:

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith

2nd only

Pirates of the Caribbean

5th to 16th

Armageddon: Les Effets Speciaux

6th to 9th

Casey Jr. - Le Petit Train du Cirque

7th to 21st

Le Pays des Contes de Fées

7th to 21st

Phantom Manor

19th to 31st

Flying Carpets Over Agrabah

26th to 31st

Hi ya, the 18th is my birthday!! Just thought I'd mention!!:rotfl:

Janaury is good if you don't mind the freezing weather, wrap up really warm and you will be fine, we go with a 7 year old and a 3 years old and they are fine with their ski suits on!
