I really need some advice on our itinerary for SW. My DD14 & I are going on Friday, April 4th for the day since we are down there for her to compete at a cheer competition. We can only go on Friday since we arrive on Thurs. and she will be competing on Sat. and Sun - our flight leaves at 9:30 pm on Sunday So here's the plan:

- arrive at opening (9am)
-go straight to Antartica
-then onto Manta
-ride Journey to Atlantis
-ride Kraken
-eat somewhere
-spend the afternoon exploring the Dolphins area (DD is obsessed with dolphins) and maybe see a couple of shows
-leave around 6ish

Now come the questions:
-Should we get the QQ?
-Should we get the MealPlan?
-Has anyone gotten the 50% photo? I'm a scrapbooker and really don't want to bring my DSLR and will just be bringing an older point 'n shoot camera
-I can't find the Photo Package info, does anyone know the cost?

Thanks so much for any and all advice!!!!:)

I'll comment in favor of getting the quick queue. April 4th is spring break which is a busy time of year. It sounds like your primary focus is the rides, if you plan on riding the rides multiple times, then I would suggest getting quick queue. If you only plan on riding each ride once, then it comes down to if you're willing to stand in line for anywhere up to an hour to ride a particular ride.

If you get quick queue, this will allow you enjoy your day at a much slower pace since you won't be wasting so much time in lines. If you do decide to get the quick queue, I would start the day with the dolphin feeding ($7) because it's only available at certain times during the day. The first feeding is around 9:30am and it the best feeding/interaction of the day because it's the dolphins breakfast time and there are fewer people to deal with. That way, you can knock the dolphin feeding early in the day and focus on the rides later in the afternoon where you won't have to worry about lines if you have quick queue.

Hello Gina,

Our current Photo CD price is $75 this includes photos taken for one day at SeaWorld. If you add an additional day and/ or Aquatica photos to your Photo CD, there is a $25 upcharge. If you happen to do a special tour while visiting our park such as our Beluga Interaction Program, there is a separate charge for any photos taken, currently the price Tour Photo CD price is $50. Please keep in mind that there are restrictions as to which photos can be added to your Photo CD as well as the locations at which they are available. Please be sure to ask at time photo is taken for details. Please keep in mind that our prices and/or products are subject to change at any time without notice. Thank you.

Feed the Dolphins, then hit Manta they are both in the front of the park.

Then Antarctica, Atlantis and Kracken as they are all together. Clyde and Seymour, Alure and Blue Horizons are musts, the pet show is also good.

It may be tough to get in all the shows. If the intent is to ride coasters as much as you can, then get quick queue.
