Advice needed: how long is the walk from DL to Storytellers Cafe?

Hi!

I have the Mickey character breakfast (@ Storyteller's Cafe) booked on a day we plan to be in Disneyland and not DCA. Is it a terribly long walk to get to/from? (We will have the park hopper pass). I have a 7-yr old and don't want to wear her out even more than she already will be. Also, I don't want to waste a ton of time if it's too long to walk back/forth. Is the monorail an option?

not a long walk at all, maybe 5 minutes from the entrance of DL. The walk is through downtown disney, so it feels fast because there is lots of good smells, and things to look at along the way.
