So, we thought we had all of our ADRs set for our trip - we’re on the dining plan and all of our credits are accounted for:

Day 1 Cape May Clam Bake (dinner)
Day 2 Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Package (dinner)
Day 3 Crystal Palace (dinner)
Day 4 O'hanna (dinner)
Day 5 Coral Reef (dinner)
Day 6 Hoop de Doo (early show)
Day 7 Boma (later breakfast, yet not yet brunch :) )
Day 8 Yak & Yeti (dinner)

Now we’re thinking of paying OOP for breakfast at Boma and adding a dinner that night … the question is WHERE?

We’ve sort of narrowed it down to:

Garden Grill at Epcot
or
Biergarten at Epcot

... but we are open to other suggestions!

Based on our other ADRs (and your experiences) what would you recommend?

We’re a party of 6 – 5 adults and (by then) a 1 yr old.

TiA!

Beirgarten is amazing, I have a ton of pics (all the items at the buffet close up) and a review on my April report in my signature

I love them both, it's hard to choose.

Based on food alone, Garden Grill gets a slight edge. If you're into beer, I'd lean towards Beirgarten.

You really can't go wrong with either!

Biergarten! We love this place and sorry we were not able to fit it in for our September trip this year. We always have good food, great service and fun with the music.

I only read through as far as your Biergarten report ... man those photos are amazing!

True ... plus there's characters at GG - great for our little guy who would have happily gone home with Pooh and Friends when we were at CP in December. :)

Good to hear! :)

How "authentic" would you say the food is? We're of Polish/Croatian descent - the types of food at Biergarten are definitely something we're used to.

I just asked my husband who is of German descent and worked in a German restaurant for three years (he is sitting here watching television) and he said on a scale of 1-10, he would rank it a 7 on authenticity.

I have to say Garden Grille for 2 reasons - for one thing, the food is so good!

The other reason, both times I was there, they really went out of their way to make the dinner magical for me. Last year, right after I got engaged, I was wearing bride mouse ears. Our waitress asked for the whole story of our engagement. After dinner she brought us a cake out w/mickey on it that said congratulations, and 2 buttons saying congratulations! Then she brought chip over to propose to me in front of the restaurant. It was a blast =)

Went back a few months later, still engaged, I wore my mouse ears & my husband to be wore the groom ears. Did not have reservations & they were totally booked up when my parents asked for a table. When I went up however, the girl said she always finds room for bride & grooms who wear the ears! She got us a table that very second, and brought us a big cheese & fruit appetizer out for free to start dinner!

I never expect this stuff at WDW, but when it happens it really is a magical experience. Based on that - obviously Garden Grille has a special place in my heart

Those pictures make me hungry. We are trying Biergarten for the first time this year. Not sure why we never did before. Thanks for sharing!

We tried Biergarten our last trip b/c we'd heard so many wonderful things about it. I thought it was OK. The entertainment and the setting were fabulous, but the fook was so so for us. I think if you are not a fan of that type of food... We are trying Garden Grill this trip.

Biergarten is a must each year for us. Ever since DH was singled out to tap the keg on our first visit here, the kids ask to go back. DS12 is still a picky eater, but even he loves it.

... thanks everyone for your input ... Biergarten definitely has some fans - but those that have suggested the Garden Grille make it sound really good too ... what to choose, what to choose ... :upsidedow

keep the opinions coming ... please! :)
