Advice needed from Parisiennes -How bad is it in Paris this week?

Wanting some advice from you locals that I know are on here. We are currently on holiday in the motorhome in the south of France. We travelled here through Europe avoiding any issues with the fuel shortage but were planning.a Disney trip on the way back. We have been offline til yesterday and are now hearing about flooding in Paris and industrial action and not much about the fuel. MIL is panicking about us getting washed away lol.
As our APs have expired we would buy Fantasy ones new on the first day and had thought we could go into the city the next day (after 10 years of visits we have never gone in!) but is that a really bad plan or just impossible? We would then have another Disney day. We will be staying in the car park at Disney with our APs so we don't need to worry about accommodation.
We will definitely go next year so its not a once in a blue moon thing. DD will be upset but just starting to feel it may be too hard this time. Kids are 13 with autism and learning disability, and nearly 4.
Any advice welcome.

depending on where you are in the south of France, check the Motorways websites and info to see if you'll be impacted by road closures/detours

you should be okay going to Disneyland Paris, as the flood wave is moving on towards the sea.
Paris will still be impacted by the flooding until at least the middle of this week

expect very high levels for the Seine river, with no river traffic (bateaux mouche), road closures on "voies sur berges" (the roads running along the river)
there are a few flooded area within paris, mostly basements.

A few museums are closed (Le Louvres for example) as higher floors are used to store the Art collections usually stored in the basement warehouses

Things are going back to normal very slowly but don't expect back to normal before the end of the week/middle of next week


The social/union unrest will be quite hard on the area throughout the week. Strikes in air, rail and transportation

Also be aware that the Euro Cup starts friday, and there will be a lot of people around, and areas such as Champ de Mars (in front of the Eiffel Tower all the way down to Ecole Militaire) is (will be) closed off and designated a "fan zone"

busy week, but don't let it put you off.
worst case scenario, you'll need to stick to visiting Disneyland Paris for an additional day, that shouldn't be too painful
