I would welcome suggestions on a good double stroller to take with us on our up coming trip. It will be used by DD - 2 and DD-4mos. We have a big bulky full size one but would like something lighter for travel. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

We have several strollers, And have used most of them at Disney. For us the most functional has been, the Kolcraft reclining umbrella stroller. I simply purchased the net bags from Walmart to compensate for the lack of a basket. it is very comfortable for them and easy to push. Good Luck!

We have 5 DCherubs and purchased a Graco double umbrella type 7 years ago. It has been used for 3 DCherubs, the youngest being the largest and the whiniest. It is light weight and has big baskets and has survived 3 Dis Trips, countless trips to Old Orchard Beach Maine, and all of our day trips to the zoo, science center etc. Sometimes one of the kids would even stand on the edge of the basket underneath the handle and hitch a ride with 2 of them sitting! Don't ask.....DH showed him how! Anyhow as you can see we love ours and for the 99 bucks it cost me back then it has more than paid me back!

The lightest double stroller on the market is the Combi Twin Savvy. It weighs only 18 lbs, and it's only 30 in wide so it will fit through all doors. I used this stroller and its the BEST!! It is great, fully reclines for each seat and each seat has it's own sun protector. I wouldn't recommend the Kolkraft for such a little baby. It really is a true umbrella stroller, with no badding, and only has one recline position, not enough for a little one to sleep comfortably IMO. Also, I found this stroller to be VERY flimsy, since mine got bent before we could even use it, rendering it almost useless. Luckily my DSis and I had bought it only for that trip, or one of us would have been extremely upset!!! The Combi folds up extremely small and even has a carrying strap to assist getting on/off the bus. Give it a look!!

I am going in August and bought a Kolcraft double (babies r us) has it for $60. I have a 4year old and a 7 month old. My 7month old does sleep in it, but he can sleep in anything. I also bought it primarly for the trip and did not want to spend more because my 4 year old only needs it for Disney and will out grow a stroller this year. Because you have a 2 year old and an infant, you might want to invest in the Combi Savy (it's about $330) but you will have it for the next 2-3 years. The seats fully recline (165 degrees) and it is well padded. If my daugher was 2 and not 4, that is the one I would buy. It all depends on why you are buying it, I suspect that you will need it for more than just Disney with two small kids. Good luck in your decision.

Thanks for your responses. Great minds think alike :p The Combi Savvy was the one I was leaning towards. From my reading it seems it will be perfect for the age difference and we love to travel so we will definitely get our moneys worth.

While we only have the one kid for now we have the single Comib Tavel Savey and love it. While at WDW last trip a couple on the bus had the double version, and it looked great. When we have 2 that is what we plan on getting. I think that would be much better with a young child, but also works well with the older child. Be sure you can trust your 2 year old to ride next to baby with out "bothering" him or her.

Please give stollers4less.com a try. That is were we got the 1st combi, for 99, when everyone else was selling it for 200. It took almost 3 weeks to get here (getting it to shipping was the problem, not UPS). So make sure you order in advance.
