We took our teens to Las Vegas - twice! We went to the Waterpark, saw Cirque de Soleil and Spamalot, really enjoyed the Star Trek Experience (they are NOT Trekkers). We rented a car and drove to the Hoover Dam - awesome. Many hotels have their own free shows, like the fountains at Bellagio, Pirate Show at Treasure Island and just eating in St. Mark's Square at the Venetian were favourites. We even took a gondola ride there and a Rickshaw inside Caesars Palace. The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay is a must too. We did Medieval times once too. If you do go, make sure you get a discount book from the front desk at each hotel for 2 for 1's. Or buy your tickets at the ticket booth on the strip by the Coke store for deep discounts on same day shows.

We have taken them twice and they keep asking to go back. If they are younger teens, the Excalibur has a large games room under the casino for the kids. My kids called it their casino. And at the warmest part of the day, they swam and loved that they could order their own drinks by the pool and charge them to the room.

The absolute best thing to do is wander through the underground shopping malls at each hotel. The themes are over the top, the shops range from very expensive (Venetian) to modest (Planet Hollywood & Paris). FAO Schwartz at Caesars Palace is the biggest toy store I have every seen. The Coke store is cool and we made our own mixtures at the M&M store. There is a trolley car that goes from to most of the hotels on the strip for a reasonable price. There is also a monorail but it's pretty pricey (coupon available) and doesn't stop at all hotels.

There is too much to do in one trip. Use coupons!!
