So I leave on Sunday... :cool1:

Thursday (May 17) is my epcot day.. I currently do not have a dinner reservation and am planning on just using a CS credit for that night. I'm TRYING to get into the Garden Grill... been calling EVERY DAY..

*IF* I can get a reservation... would you "give up" your reservation at Tony's at MK OR Hollywood & Vine at DHS to eat at Garden Grill instead. And giving up one of those means i would have to do a CS credit for dinner. Or would you keep those 2 and just forget about Garden Grill.

I'm a single mom, with 2 boys.. 4 and 5 years old.

I have the rest of my meals exactly like I want them. This is the only one I can't decide upon, and that's *IF* I can get a reservation.

Advice?

Thanks!!

Our daughter was not much older than your boys the first time we went to Garden Grille-it was a very relaxing dinner and very low-key. They have characters (Mickey and Minnie, I know for sure) that come to the table and spend a good amount of time with the children (this was also true three years ago when we dined as all adults). I would choose Garden Grille over Tony's-we have not eaten at Hollywood & Vine in years-and that was for breakfast. Oh, and we liked the food at Garden Grille, as well! Have a wonderful trip-your boys are such a fun age! I can't wait to take our grandson next year and experience things with a little one again! :)

If you can get garden-grill, I'd give up H&V. The characters are nice, but I LOVE Tony's.

I like the garden-grill, the food is lovely and it brings back fond memories. It is also much quieter than H&V.

Garden Grill is one our family fav's. As PP have said, it is so relaxing, especially if you can get a booth.
Good luck!! :)

I also vote for the Garden Grill if you can swing it. I loved the relaxed atmosphere, the food was good, the character interaction was wonderful
(Chip,Dale,Mickey,Pluto), and the restaurant rotates inside the land pavilion which is so nice. I agree about getting a booth if you can get one.

I also think it comes down to which characters your boys would rather see at the Garden Grill as opposed to Hollywood & Vine. Would they rather see those?

If it were just based on food and atmosphere Garden Grill gets my vote hands down :).

Garden Grill is our favorite character meal! If you can get an ADR, in my opinion dropping H&V would be the way to go. The food there just isn't good.

I'd give up H&V in a HOT MINUTE to change to GG. MUCH better meal in every single way. Have fun!:goodvibes

Yes you will have a much better time at Garden Grill because of the characters and we enjoyed the food too. I've never been to H&V but just by being on these boards I would never eat dinner there, breakfast maybe, dinner no way.

Hopefully you found a ADR already. If not, there is one for today at Garden Grill at 4:15.
