Advice from Sarasota experts

We are thinking about a trip to Sarasota with a side trip to Disney. Does anyone have website suggestions to find a nice condo type resort in Sarasota? Thanks!

You might consider "Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club". It is located on Siesta Key's Crescent Beach.

Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club looks great. Do you know if you have to book directly through the resort or is this a timeshare type resort? I guess the other option would be renting through VRBO.

I highly recommend the Lido Beach Resort on Lido Key. It is very close to St. Armond's Circle and is directly on the beach. The tower rooms are very large with kitchens, a dining area, and wonderful balconies overlooking the Gulf. You can book directly at www.lidobeachresort.com.

We previously lived in the Sarasota area and stayed multiple times at this resort for weekend getaways. Always had a great time!

We are planning the same vacation. We are staying on Siesta Key and plan on going over to the Disney area for a day. Lido Key Resort looks really nice.

Lido Beach Resort is great. Right on the beach and close enough to walk to St. Armand's Circle.

We've always stayed at Casa Mar on Siesta Key. They are individual condos (vs. a highrise), right on the beach. They have studios, 1 & 2 bedrooms. Parking at your back door, 2 pools & shuffleboard courts. Very nice. We usually hit DW on the way down to the condo.

It's more like 3.
