Advice from Dollar Rental users...Help!! I'm confused!

I just switch from Alamo to Dollar since i got a cheaper price..However, there is "Rapid Rental" Check in and there also a "Dollar Express" Check in...Does any of the of two BYPASSES the counter at MCO and can go straight to the car? The website don't seem very clear on this. Which of the above should i use? I need advice since i love the ALAMO Bypass and it was so convenient last year to go straight to car-- but also have used Dollar but many light years ago!

I don't actually know the difference between the two programs, but I do both. Then I check in online the day before. I never go to the counter; I just go out to the garage with my online check in confirmation and the attendant tells me to go find a car (or they direct me to a specific car). I can't remember if the online check in told me to do this or I just did, but it's worked each of the past two years. I have a current reservation with them in mid August. Assuming, they remain the cheapest and I keep that reservation, I intend to do the same thing. So . . . . my official response to you is I have no idea. But I would just go to the garage. What's the worst they can do - send you back inside to the counter?

ok, thank you...and can you go straight to the garage if you book a "lock low and go"? and anyone experience with this promotion on what kind of car you end up getting?

I'm a Dollar Express member and on last trip in 2012 I went straight to garage.

I did Express last Friday, went straight to garage. The board said see attendant, all she did was hand me a packet and tell me to pick any car I wanted (then she whispered, if you don't like any standard you can take a mid size but we were fine with standard).

This was our experience in May as well.

Last week I went to the garage. My name was on the board at garage I guest, dollar information both. It had a parking space number on it. he car was there and all the information paper work hanging on mirror

From previous experience as members of Dollar Express we go to the garage and for Lock Low and Go are told to pick a car from an assigned aisle. One time they had assigned a car and that was fine too. Had a nice Galant.
