Advice for President's Day

I think we're going to bite the bullet and go. We know it will be busy, but this is the only time that works and I have been dreaming of going for so long. Hopefully, we will arrive on Friday Feb 18th and leave on the Thursday Feb 24th, which gives us 5 days in the parks, plus I would like to hit DHS in the morning on departure day. How does this tentative plan look for park days? Hopefully festival of the arts will be on, which is super exciting. Pretty bummed Everest is closed because I've never been (.

Sat 19th - MK
Sun 20th - Epcot
Mon 21st (P-day) - AK
Tues 22nd - MK
Wed 23rd - DHS
Thurs 24th (depart day) - morning DHS

This was my thinking with crowds and such, what are your thoughts? Hoping to avoid purchasing Genie+, but may have to for DHS day...

Also - one more thing - we may have to arrive on the Saturday instead of the Friday - will that ruin the plan? (it will give us one less day unless we hit MK in the afternoon/evening)

The only thing I'd consider is whether you want to do Festival of the Arts at EPCOT as it happens on the weekends and you're plan has you going to EPCOT on Sunday.
If you don't care about the festival I'd switch that day to avoid some crowds.
I do like your choice of AK on P day.
Its kind of a given that if you arrive a day later you're going to lose out on park time.
What time is your flight home? If its not later in the day it may not be worth feeling rushed at HS that morning.
As long as you have the right attitude going in you'll have a great time.

I think are flight will be around 1pm... I think it's doable for an hour or two that morning with early entry? (8:30 - 10:30)

I'd consider switching EPCOT Sunday with MK Tuesday? But otherwise just leave it be especially if you do go to MK on Saturday.

With a 1pm flight you'll want to arrive at the airport around 11am.
I absolutely would not go to HS that morning personally.

Yes I think it would be cutting it way too close.
Seems like a very stressful situation.
If your flight was late afternoon/evening that would make a difference in my opinion.

every festival runs for every day, not just weekends! Though sometimes there are special performances on weekends.

I am also going President’s day, specially for the festival (and to use my brand new AP!!)

My schedule is
Friday-Epcot and HS
Saturday-Rope drop MK (and buy Genie plus), hop to AK, then close out at Epcot
Sunday- Sleep in, HS then Epcot
Monday- MK with genie plus, Epcot

my s/o and I always try at least one thing from every booth, so if we can hit 4-5 booths per day we should be able to accomplish this.

I think your schedule looks really good! If you’re worried about crowds I think flopping AK with Epcot could be good, but I think epcot will becrowded no matter when we go as it’s the end of the festival and a holiday weekend.

every festival runs for every day, not just weekends! Though sometimes there are special performances on weekends.

It didn't start out that way. And still only some things are available all week but some are still only available on the weekends.
