We have a reservation for Ohana at 7:45. We are staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort... First question, when should we leave the resort to allow for enough time to get to breakfast? Second question - where is the best place to park without having to pay fees for 2 parking lots since we're going to MK after breakfast? I don't want to pay to park at Polynesian and then pay again at MK... Can you get to MK from Polynesian and vise versa? Help! I'm a Disney newbie!

Not sure on timing (1hr?) but for parking you pay once for the entire day. You will drive to Poly and park for free (only about a 3hr window just let them know you have reservations) and then drive to TTC, pay, then go to MK :) If you park hop your parking ticket is valid for all parking lots

You don't have to pay to park at the Poly. However, if you are going to MK ,park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and hop on the resort monorail to get to the Poly. Then take the same monorail to MK. As far as time, have you been to a park yet from Bonnet Creek? I've stayed there and I know it's close but it's been a while, but I would try to leave 40 minutes before your ADR.

I would guess it shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes of driving time to get from bonnet Creek to Poly/MK parking then you need time to get to Ohana. I would suggest parking at the TTC (the MK lot) and walking over to the Poly- you head over to the walkway outside the ticket gates but towards the side with the ferry- they have a walkway although last time I was there it was not well marked because of the construction. You can then take the monorail or boat from the Poly to the MK and then return to the car when you leave for the day. If you have children walking I would give myself 20-30 minutes for the walk from the car and to allow time to check in. So I would leave between 7-7:10.

You other choice is to go through the MK parking gates and say you are eating at the Poly- it will allow you to get in there for free and you will head to the Poly- as long as they have room in the lot you will be allowed to park for breakfast in self-parking or pay to valet for the day. If you choose to self park after breakfast you would need to move your car to the MK lot- which I think means you must leave the whole area and then come back in. This way I would probably leave about 7:15.

You can park for free at Poly and then move your car to the MK lot. Or, you can Valet park at the Poly ($20) and leave your car parked there all day. Take the Monorail to the park or walk to the TTC and ride the Ferry.

If you decide to move your car from free self-parking at Poly to the MK lot, head from Poly towards the Grand Floridian > turn left at the intersection > follow the signs to the MK parking lot. The turn in lane leads into the parking lot and does not lead to the Toll Booths. You'll be directed to your parking spot.

The walk from the TTC to the Poly is really short, especially early in the morning. Just park there, eat at the Poly, and take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom. The monorail runs constantly.

Just a note, when I drove by this u-turn the other day it was blocked off with cones!!

I have to agree with this. Why park twice at all...just park for the day in the MK lots and take the tram (if necessary) to the TTC. The walk from the TTC to the Poly is less than 5 minutes.

It is less than 15 minutes to get to the Polly lot. I would suggest going to the TTC parking lot first thing rather than moving. At that time of the morning, you should be in the front lot, with no tram needed and then can walk easily to the Polly. If going that route, I would give yourself 40 minutes.

I am staying off property and will be traveling down Vista Blvd to get to MK. I know I have to loop around to get to the TTC parking lot. Assuming this is the entrance you mention was coned off, if I keep going will I be able to merge back into the line at the parking booth or what happens? Thanks soo much!

Yes, you'll have to give yourself a little more time if you park in the TTC lot first...BUT, you'll easily make that up after breakfast by not having to get your car, drive all the way around to the MK parking entrance, tram, etc.

I would valet park at the Poly. No need to move your car at all. Take monorail to and from MK. You will pay only once. Valet costs are roughly the same as the cost to park at MK.

Yes, there's another spot to make a u-turn further on down the road but it will take you through the toll booth. It's possible the cones were just there for the day and you'll be able to make the first u-turn. Hope so!

I would valet park at the Polynesian and leave it there until you are done at the MK. It should take you less than 30-minutes door to door.

Thanks soo much! I am perfectly fine with going through the toll booth (I have my envelopes with my $17 for each day all ready to go and have for a couple of months now) just started to panic that my route I have mapped in my mind may not work. I am soo sorry for hijacking this thread but would you happen to know if there is a way to leave the TTC and go back to Vista Blvd? I have not been able to figure that out by looking at maps. Thanks again!

True...if that happens, you won't need to pay again since you'll have your parking receipt card from when you first entered.

Just a heads up, as we've done this ('Ohana early ressie, then MK) a few times!

Were you counting on getting to MK for RD? Because with a 7:45 ressie at 'Ohana this will be very tough. Figure on 1 hour for breakfast after you are seated. I would guess you will be headed to MK at 9 At the earliest, walking up to turnstiles about 9:15. So you'll miss RD, but hopefully the crush of RDers will have entered MK by then.
