Hi everyone,

I am wanting to make a special Epcot World Showcase Passport for my 6 year old daughter and I am needing some help/ideas. I was hoping to put a map of the country on each page and their flag (already found them all) and areas to put pictures here and there (so my daughter can bring this to school for show and tell and to remember the trip). I was also thinking of putting lines in for a sentence for the CM to write something but what? It would be neat if it was something other than "Hello, my name is _____" kwim? and then a translation. Also I was thinking about putting in areas to write in afterwards like "My favorite thing about Mexico was ____" We tried ____ in Norway" etc. and something about Christmas since we will be there in less than 3 weeks. I'm just sort of lost since it has been 7 years since I have been to Epcot and I can't really remember how everything is set up. Any help, comments, pictures, anything would be very appreciated.

I plan to get the cover laminated and bound at Staples so I really want this to be special. TIA!!!

how about if you had the CM's write something simple, like how to say "hello" and "goodbye". you could translate it and even put in phonotic pronunciations so that the kids at school could learn how to say something simple.
you could also write her favorite part about each country, what the country is famous for, or another fun fact about it by asking the CM's. you might find out something really intersting. we were talking to a CM from Norway and she was telling us about how Disney employed her for the job. you can learn interesting things just by listening to what they say.

Sounds like what you have planned so far is really neat. I would put a space for them to write your daughters name. My girls think its cool to see their name written in different languages.

I can't really think of anything else to add, sounds like you have it pretty much under control. What size were you planning on making it because it sounds like you want to get pretty much information on each page?

This sounds like a great idea but I have one warning... When we were two years ago (first week of December) Epcot was crowded. There were LOTS of elementary age school groups going through. I think since it's supposed to be a slow time of year for WDW the area school's do field trips then. We went back on different days and the CM's were busy. They seemed kind of haggard and although they were nice to our kids they did seem to want to get right to the next kid.
I think the idea of going to the CM message board is a great idea. I'm sure they'd be very helpful.
Have a great trip!

Thank you all for the ideas and the link to the CM board (never knew there was one). I figured that it would be 8 1/2 x 11 and a few pages for each country. I hope that it will work... that way we will still have some room to put in some pictures after we get home. I hope that it isn't too busy, but I guess that we will have to wait and see. I'm sure that we will be going to Epcot for 2 days so we could always go back to some countries if we couldn't get them the first time. Thanks again and more ideas are welcome!!! :earsgirl:
