Besides having broken-in, comfortable shoes, are there any tips to avoid blisters, etc. while on your feet for most of the day? Is a loose-fitting running shoe better than something tight? Is running-style better than something else, such as a tennis shoe or cross-trainer?
Any anti-fungal powders useful? We don't have any foot ailments but I've heard those might help with dryness.
If we stop to see a show or are in a slow, sit-down attraction, is it 'acceptable' to take our shoes off for a bit to let them air out a little bit?
Is anything better than 100% cotton socks? We plan to have extra pairs for after being soaked on water rides. Has anyone dared to cover their shoes with plastic bags on water rides so your feet don't get soaked?
We are going in late August so the high humidity might affect drying in those cases.
Thanks
