We will be on the April 2018 Eastern Carib Fantasy stopping in Tortolla and St. Thomas. It will be myself, husband, 7 year old, 2 year old and my parents. My husband will be scuba diving in Tortolla. Is the Port Adventure trip the best/easiest one? I also need suggestions on what to do with the kids and my parents in both ports. We will want to get off the ship and do something. Thoughts/Suggestions. Thanks.

We loved our day at Megan's Bay in St. Thomas. It was an absolutely beautiful beach.
We could have done it on our own for cheaper, but we did the excursion because it was easier.
(And it made it easier to drag our 8-year old out of the water. He understood that we had to get on the taxi, vs. mom's car will wait longer.)

Our little one and I just played in the sand at the edge of the water for a few hours. My 8 year old brought his snorkel (they had rentals, too) and messed around with it the whole time.

Now, we are a beach family, I think my kids could spend the entire summer at the beach amusing themselves the whole time.

(We all wear rash guards and hats to help with the sun thing.)

Two of the more relaxing and easiest excursions that we did on our E. Carib cruises were the day at Megan's Bay in St. Thomas and the half day boat trip to Jost Van Dyke in Tortola. Both beaches are stunning, calm, clear and clean. Hard to make a day at the beach better than either of these. Great water for young and old alike.
