If I got Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets, and wanted to eat at Liberty Tree or Chystal Palace for dinner, what time do you suggest ? and how is this handled if the offical MVMCP doesn't start until 7pm if you want to eat earlier? Any advice or tips? Is it a good thing to already be in the park?

When you order your tickets you can see if they have any openings left for LTT. They allow you to book the ps early when you buy your tickets so just ask the CM while ordering tickets. If they are all booked up you will have to wait until 90 days prior to try to make a ps for CP. They should have openings starting at 5:00PM.

We ate in 2001 at Tony's (YUCK!) at 5:15 prior to the party. It was great to walk out of the restaurant and go down Main St. and see the snow falling. Beat all the crowds in. You can get into the park as early as 4:30 as long as you have your party ticket and ps# with you. They will give you a bracelet as you enter so they know you are there for the party.

We ate at LTT last year for MNSSHP at 5:15 and when we were done eating they had us go over to Fantasyland until 7:00pm and we got to go on a few rides while waiting. IMHO I would rather have a nice sit down dinner before the party and not waste the time eating during the party.

Does anyone know why the Liberty Tree is in more demand than the Crystal Palace? I have been to both on "non special" days and I enjoyed CP more.

They only allow PS's before 90 days at LTT. They opened those PS's up at the same time as the tickets went on sale. They are probably pretty booked up now. Crystal Palace you have to wait until 90 days and I believe they close before the party starts at 7:00pm. Last year they admitted anyone after 4:00pm with MVMCP tickets and gave you your wristbands, you did not need to have a PS to get in early (we entered about 4:30 with no PS).

Last year at MVMCP, we got a 4:00 PS for Crystal Palace. They let us in the MK that early with the MVMCP tickets, and we went and had dinner. We got done early enough to catch a few rides then headed over to Tomorowland while they prepared the park for MVMCP. We rode everything in Tomorrowland (sometimes twice) and headed straight over to Fantasyland at 7:00 when the party started. I felt like we really got to do a lot of stuff during MVMCP due to getting in so early.

Is Fantasy Land the place to be when the party starts? What is the best plan of "attack" for the party?

Honestly...I would book the latest lunch seating at LTT and have a great meal there (the lunch menu is excellent). Then just have a snack, like a hotdog from caseys while you are watching the christmas parade. Works out great!

When we were at MVMCP ,by the time we got through Tomorrowland we were right at the Tea Cups ride at 7:00. We breazed through Fantasy land and Libery Square before we started seeing any crowd because so many people were watching the parade and the shows. Even when we did encounter crowds, they were not that bad. We had gotten to ride everything we wanted in time to get a good spot for the last parade of the night.

I hope this helps!
