We were at DL last year on a Saturday in the off-season and we just about died when we saw the crowds. We are from a small town/rural area and DL can be a little overwhelming for us when it's crowded. Our first day will be a Wednesday(seeing WOC) and Thursday in the parks, finishing with a Friday(watching fireworks from IASW area).
While we are perfectly aware that you can't control the crowds(or rudeness), how would suggest that we "cope" with Friday afternoon/evening? The two things we've thought of are: collect FP's to use in the evening, and to save no-wait attractions for late in the day, any other advice?

And yes, we realize that if we don't like crowds we shouldn't be going on a Friday. But it was completely unavoidable on this trip.
