Advice for Birthday Magic?

Hey everyone! I'm Josh, new to the board and I am about to head down to WDW for a nice long weekend. It's my mom's birthday and dad and I are taking her to Disney!!!! Shes so excited!

We are staying at POR..I've never stayed there before so if anyone has any thoughts on POR please feel free to leave them in this thread as well (I am as we speak reading the FAQ thread for POR).

So here is my question...I want my mom to have an absolutly magical birthday! She has had a rough year with work and other things so she needs a nice get away, and i think it would do her good to be spoiled while at WDW. I am really hoping that some cast members might be able to create some magic for her throughout the weekend and dad and I will try to do the same. Any advice for creating a great weekend? any CM on here interested in helping me out?

Buy her one of those Birthday Hats. If she's not into that, than by her a Birthday Pin. When you go into restraunts, let CM know that it's her birthday.

suggestion of the Birthday hat and the birthday pin (available at City Hall). I have seen CM go out of their way when they see these. When going to a resturant on her day, be sure to let the staff know of her birthday (while she is out of ear-shot). Also, be sure to let the staff and desk at your resort know. In fact, I would call in advance and have this added to your reservation comments/request. I can't hurt!!
