Advice for 1st time disney people

MUST DO: Go to MK at am EMH's, you can get all of Fantasy Land done by noon, before it get's crazy hot and busy! Same with Epcot, you can do Soarin, Test Track etc. without waiting! Or MK pm EMH's, at midnight you can ride Space Mountain over and over!

MUST BRING: Patience and pace yourselves, know when it's time to take the little ones back to the villa. I see so many people walking around the parks cranky and miserable, Hey, this is supposed to be fun!

2. to bring, space saver travel bags, shrinks your dirty laundry in luggage and leaves room for souvenirs on the way home!

Do the DVC rooms have a vacuum? We are going home for the first time next month and the space saver bags caught my eye.

It varies a lot, depending on length of stay and time of year, what their budget is, how they like to eat, ages of kids, and lots of other factors.

The number one thing to have is "patience."

Then, a sense of fun and an appreciation of creativity and imagination.

Do research and plan ahead, but be flexible and know you cannot "do it all" even on a two-week trip, and certainly not on a one-week or less trip.

Use PhotoPass.

Bring: ponchos, basic camera(s), money, bandaids (and know the locations of the first aid stations).

Don't rush around to the big "thrill" rides -- explore the Disney-specific visual experiences and enjoy the attention to details.

Yes, but not sure if they have an attachment hose, however with the travel spacesavers you don't need a vacuum, you roll out the air! I think I got mine at bed, bath and beyond.

To bring: A budget and willpower. The magic will fade pretty fast if you get back to a credit card bill that is not completely covered by your trip savings. I hear it all the time how people want to "do it up big" on their Disney vacation. Here is a better plan, do it up smaller so you can go more often. Every dollar you spend on this vacation is one more you have to save up for the next one. I am not saying you have to be a tightwad and eat pb&j sammiches 3 meals a day and no souvenirs but use some common sense.

To see/do: Find something small each day and appreciate it. If you can't you are probably going to fast when you get back it will seem like more of a whirlwind than a nice vacation. Part of the Disney magic is in the details. Find some of them and take a moment.
