Hi, we have decided on a Christmas trip and our home (near Disney) is booked. Can anyone give me help on receiving discounts for rooms at Universal? Does the Fan Club card still work? We would consider buying AP's if that would help. Thanks for your help..

Go to this site and check reservations for when you wish to travel. Use the codes FAN for Fan Club and APH for Annual Passholder. APH is usually the best discount. Royal Pacific is the least expensive followed by Hard Rock then Portofino.

Do you have an AAA card? That's also a code to try.
Many used it this year (including me). The APH rates may not come out for a few months, so it's best to book the room now, and if a better APH rates comes out, you can call and have it changed. A few people did that this year. Just be aware, that when you use the discount rate codes, the hotel doesn't have to give you the free check in gift. Some get bummed about that.
