Here goes.....
We live in a street where the houses have really big gardens at least 100ft x 100ft - next door live a family of six all four boys are 12-17yrs. They love their sport and at the moment it's cricket! they play with tennis balls and I don't mind continually throwing them back (although I wish they were a bit more polite when they come to the door), there have been a few close calls with the girls - I think little Poppy was hit once when she was small but it wasn't hard.
It peeves DH more than me, I consider myself a pretty laid back person and three days ago there was a fake (soft) cricket ball over, I said to the boy when I saw it "that better not be what I think it is" and he said no its a soft ball - and it was. However, this evening and not for the first time a REAL hard cricket ball was over - right near the girls playhouse.
I have to admit it happened once last year and in anger I threw the ball away! Needless to say they never knocked for it back anyway!
They are in on their own after school and they do tend to get up to mischief until later when their parents get home from work.
This thing could REALLY hurt or worse, I know DH is over protective but I'm really angry too. My girls are my most precious things to me.
Am I over reacting what would you do?
I knocked about 10 mins ago but got no answer.....
