We will be eating at 50s Prime Time for Lunch in Sept. and was
wondering if they offer any grilled fish for adults because
I saw the kids menu and they have a choice of Grilled fish
of the day?

Could I order from the Kids menu without being
teased to much? :scared1:

I have been to 50's Prime Time only once. Our waitress did not give me the business because I had my three very young children with me. I think they don't want to scare little ones so they won't bother you if you are with small kids.

It's too bad you don't like the regular menu. The pot roast was excellent.

It's just that!! I have a very rare allergy to beef, chicken and pork
and it causes me have swelling and itching in my joints.
The only food that seems to not do this is fish or veggie foods
and you know how hard it is to find any of this at WDW.
I really would like to be able to enjoy eating anything like
everybody else but can't. I also want to have a good time.
I was diagnosed with a rare type of autoimmune arthritis
And have to be careful about my diet.:sad1:

That really stinks. I am sorry to hear that.

My family and I are going to the Studios on August 15. We just made our plans so we are late with getting decent ADR's. We could not get any decent dinner ADR's at the Studios so we got a 7:00PM ADR at Cape May Cafe.

Cape May Cafe is located at Beach Club. Their dinner is a clambake seafood buffet. It has ribs, chicken and other items for people who do not like seafood. The Beach Club is a short bus ride from the Studios. Maybe that will be a better alternative for you.

Here is a link for their menu. http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_cmc.htm

Regardless of where you eat, I hope you enjoy your time at WDW!

We have ADRs for Cape May one evening but
since my DS and DH do not have food allergies
I really want them to enjoy themselves.
I though that 50s PT would be fun for them
and hoping it will be fun for me also.:goodvibes

I can't answer your question. I think the menus are posted under teh dining site. I would maybe even call into disney.

All Disney restaurants cam make meals for people with dietary considerations. Just tell your server, and likely Mom or some one in her kitchen will come and talk to you to find out what you can eat.

Just checked on allearsnet and they have salmon. here's the link to their dinner menu.

I did check the menus and saw that the only choice
in grilled fish was on the kids menu (which I thought was very strange).

I wanted to know if anybody ever ordered grilled fish there?

Do you think they will let me order a kids meal?
Hopefully they won't make a big deal of it and make me do something
funny, like something a kid would do, but if that's what it takes.:flower3:

Just make sure you eat all your green b:rotfl2: eans or they might start feeding you. That happened to my husband and my kids thought it was so funny.

When you make your ADR for the Prime Time, tell the CM that you have this allergy and they should make a note about it. Disney is always eager to help when it comes to diet restrictions. I have had the chef come to the table at various resturants there and they have helped with selections and will make whatever you want without whatever you have a problem with.

What I would do is to do as disgram said, have them make note of your allergy on the reservation. Then while the server is seating you take him/her to the side and make it known you want the table to have the "treatment" but you don't want to be singled out for ordering off the children's menu. I bet when it came time to order all you would have to say is I would like the grilled fish of the day without any reference to it being on the children's menu.

Oh, I just reviewed the "adult" menu and they have a caesar salad with chicken but you can order it with salmon instead. I bet the grilled "fish of the day" on hte childs menu is usually either salmon or haddock, since they both appear on the "adult" lunch menu.

I think you should be fine.
