I would love to do the RDP, but it's not meant to be. Dh just isn't interested in a sit down meal every day with the little squirrels.

So, I want to make the QSDP interesting. We went last year, and we really liked it, but I was hoping to get a good list going.

What are your favorite CS places? I'm looking for interesting food, really good food, healthier food, you name it.

We don't mind moving around a bit...so resort cs places are an option. We are driving down, so we have our car.

So far, some that are on my list for sure:

1. Sunshine Seasons-BEST cs food. We were so impressed.
2. Mara- got to try some of the more interesting menu items
3. We tried the Morroccan place last year, we might go back there.

TIA!

at Mara get the African Stew in the bread bowl. It's really yummy and I'm not usually a fan of stew.

not terribly 'interesting' but Columbia Harbor House makes a delicious tuna sandwich. It's on toasted whole grain bread. I believe it comes with chips but I've always subbed fries.

at SSR, the counter service makes their own chips that are wonderful and keep really well too. We tend to order the roast beef sandwiches as they are made with real roast beef, not that deli stuff.

We're doing the regular DP, but I've been researching the CS options as I know I won't want burgers everyday for lunch. A couple with more unique options are -

Captains Cooks at the Poly
Starring Rolls at DHS - only couple sandwich options, but the fun part is the dessert
WPE at DTD (as PP mentioned)

Looks like you have a good list going!

FlameTree Barbeque at Animal Kingdom

Captain Cook's at the Poly - you can get Dole Whip as your dessert! - have a late dinner then watch Wishes from the beach

Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary - Caramel Dos Leches cupcake for dessert, good burgers, flatbread pizza same as at Captain Cook's

Earl of Sandwich

The new Mexican QS location at Epcot had great tacos with homeade chips and churros for dessert

Yes, I like dessert at Disney - I am on vacation after all!!

How did you find the portion size at this location? There have been several reports that each taco is only two small bites and that people left hungry.

Boulangierie Francaise in EPCOT (the bakery/counter service in France)
Wolfgang Puck Express, Marketplace, DTD (not WestSide!)
Sunshine Seasons, the Land, EPCOT

Portions were not huge, but with the chips and churro, it was plenty to eat. DH and I actually split the meal, then split another dinner later in the evening. I'd say size of tacos is similar to Chipotle's soft tacos.

WPE, Earl of Sandwich, Tangeriene Cafe
The food court at POR has some really good options, including a build your own pasta station.

did anyone mention the chicken fried rice at Yak & Yeti counter service in AK? It's just a snack credit but it's a whole chinese takeaway container of it. Very filling and yummy.

We were on the QS Dining Plan last trip. We hit up a bunch of our favorites. Some are:

1. Earl of Sandwich in DTD
2. Mara at AKL (saw you had that on your list. Get the zebra domes!)
3. Columbia Harbor House in MK

Just have to chime in with another vote for Yak & Yeti. Ate there last month, tried both the honey chicken and sweet & sour chicken, both great and, IMO, very large portions.

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons & Electric Umbrella.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary & Backlot Express.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ & Pizzafari.

Downtown Disney: Earl of Sandwich.

Contemporary: Contempo Cafe.

Grand Floridian: Gasparilla's Grill & Games.

Boardwalk: Boardwalk Bakery.

AK - Flame Tree (ribs) and Pizzafari (Hot Italian Sandwich, Antipasto Salad or breadsticks - NOT the pizza:confused3)

DHS - Backlot Express (Southwest Salad with Chicken - over mixed greens, crisp corn tortilla, black bean relish, Avacado, and Cilantro Vinaigrette)

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons or Tangierine Cafe (Shawarma Platter)

MK - Columbia Harbour House (fried shrimp platter)

Captain Cooks @ Poly (Hawaiian Flatbread and Dole Whip for dessert)
Earl of Sandwich @ DTD
WPE @ DTD - (♥everything♥);)

HTH! :)
