Has anyone actually taken one of these trips? The prices seem outrageous to me. I just looked at a trip to Australia. For a family of 4 the cost is $17,000. That does NOT include airfare. A trip to France/Englad would cost a family almost $16k. Philadephia/DC $10k. I realize this includes hotel, meals and transportation during the trip but having traveled to these places and done some of the activities scheduled I just cannot imagine they are worth the price. The hotels offered are nice but not luxury.

If I am wrong please tell me. I would love to hear that these are amazing experiences worth the price.

Yes they are expensive but if you add them up item by item -they are still expensive but not as outrageous as you might think.

Hotel, private motorcoach, activities, many meals, you don't have to deal with your luggage or checking in -ect... these trips are for people who want to be taken care of.

We are also excited about the idea of having other families to travel with and kids for our kids to hang out with.

The reviews for these are really good. There is an Adventures by Disney Forum on this board

There is a whole forum here devoted to Adventures by Disney... lots of threads with glowing reviews. We had a great time, well worth the points we used for the trip.

I know people that have gone on them and they go back again and do more trips so they must be getting their money's worth. They come back raving over the time hey had. I would love to be able to do it.
