Adventures by Disney, who has done this?

I've never been on a AbD, or the cruise line . . . in fact I haven't enve used my DVC yet! But, it seems the points for these are so high becuase they cover a lot more than just your hotel stay right? They cruise is probably all you can eat buffets and activities right? What kind of stuff is covered by AbD besides hotel stay?

We are going on the ABD Viva Italia trip tomorrow and paid cash for one person, and used points for one person. There was no DVC discount, but we were able to take advantage of the early booking discount which saved us a few hundred dollars more

I wouldn't say it was misleading. They made no assumptions other than you can use your points on Adventures by disney. That is totally true. Remember folks, there are many, many people out there who own a boat load of points. I have 2 coworkers who are 500+ point owners. Concierge collection, ABD, Disney cruises are all options that are "relatively" easy things to do if you have the points.

I am glad you said that.. I wondered how many points you would have to have to do the ADB trips....

I stopped renting my points after a renter got a hold of my wife's SSN and sent her a 1099.
